I've been training in Sai for about a year now. I have learn three forms now. What I want to learn (to do as strength training practice) is tricks with the sai. Flips, twirls...etc. I know figure eights and basic twirl. Does anyone know where I can find a book or DVD where I can learn tricks?

Hello Sensei Gray
I know of Mr Kimo Wall by reputation only, I have been told only the best about him and his ability. Okinawa the bithplace of karate and Okinawan kobudo has many secrets, and even more unknown skilled karate-ka.
This is why I have joined with others here to share our experiences.
Thank You

Terry

Have you been around Kimo Wall. He has some of the tools from Okinawa. He spent 40 years on Okinawa.

Thank you for allowing me to join your group. Some years ago I helped record some early kobudo on ESPY-TV from New York. Since then much more insight has been provided to the methods of Okinawan and Japanese Budo as related to the Okinawan farm weapons and their counterparts.
Its nice to see several old friends and teachers in the mix.
I hope to learn more from all of you here!
